Fresh Trove by Sukamani Heritage Farm was born from a simple belief:
Everyone should understand where their food comes from. And everyone should have the opportunity to grow some of it themselves.
Modern life has taken many of us further away from the soil. We buy food from shops and markets, but often know very little about how it was grown, what went into producing it, or how it travelled before reaching our plates.
At Fresh Trove, we don’t believe the answer is fear.
We believe the answer is awareness, knowledge and action.
And one of the most powerful ways to understand food is to grow it yourself.

Our long-term vision is ambitious:
Help people work towards growing up to 75% of their own food.
Not every family will have the same space, climate, time, resources or dietary needs, so 75% is a vision and direction—not a promise or requirement.
Some people may start with 5%.
Others may reach 20%.
Some may eventually grow much more.
The important thing is to start.
Grow something.
Learn something.
Harvest something.
Then grow a little more.

Food safety is complex. Food can be affected by biological hazards, chemical contaminants and agricultural residues, and actual health risk depends on the type and amount of exposure.
That’s why we want Fresh Trove to become more than a gardening store.
We want to help people understand their food choices.
We’re working towards tools that can help people explore food-safety and food-growing information in a simple way.
